This season is coming to an end and so our little camp will do this Saturday. When we leave, this site is being shut down until March as fishing season is being superseded by late Autumn and Winter. Until then, the change of seasons (and weather) is still something that amazes you each morning when waking up despite of the current weather conditions.

This is a view from Mic Mac Lake in Tettegouche State Park off highway 61 on the North Shore of Lake Superior, Minnesota. This image was picked up by Explore Minnesota, The State of Minnesota Travel and Tourism Board and proved to be one of their most popular Instagram images of all time. It was because of this image that I was named one of the top 9 Minnesota Instagram photographers for 2015 and now I have been asked to be a guest blogger on the Explore Minnesota web site. All good things come to an end - and with this trip seeing the last sunrise at our ferry terminal at Ombo on Saturday morning, we closed this season here and will return to Norway next year, visiting this wonderful country in the (hopefully) fifth consecutive year! ❤️ 🇳🇴
