With protests in #Mongolia going into 2nd week, there are some bureaucratic responses.
Perhaps not surprisingly, the Immigration Agency is reminding resident foreigners that they are not to break the law. Yes, true, even in context of freedom of expression, so not unusual, but not a great look for a democratic country.
That "foreign instigator" narrative of protests is such a cliché for authoritarian govts that democratic authorities should avoid it, I think.
